Today, some material love for jesmonite, an acrylic composite material that’s popping up everywhere in homewares. You might have seen satisfying videos on Instagram and TikTok of artists unmolding beautiful jesmonite creations!

Jesmonite is a versatile medium that lends itself well to all sorts of applications. I’m enjoying learning about the color mixing and matching processes, and watching how artists can save their scraps to reuse in future castings, creating entirely new iterations with echoes of older versions.
